In 1963 the model range was changed. The 600 and 750 were discontinued.

Instead, the 31 for filled the role of the basic model. It was the first time the Italian designer Michelotti was involved with the styling. He introduced a new design of the roof and the grille was more subtle. The interior was changed drastically. The seats were more comfortable and the dashboard was modernized. The wheelsize changed from 12 inch to 13 inch, to allow fitting of the lower radial tyres. It was available in "Standaard", "Luxe" and "Luxe Extra".
