Classic DAF

32
In 1965 the new Daffodil (32) was introduced. The hand of Daf 32designer Michelotti was clearly visible in the appearance of the car. The front and rear of the car were raised and the grille was more sober. The ventilation of the car was improved, so was the steering. And again the already familiar three versions were available, "Standaard", "Luxe" and "Luxe Extra".
In april 1966 a small batch of a sporty S-version was introduced, to facilitate the use of the 32 as a Groupe 1 rallye car. The S-version had a slightly bigger engine (763 cc instead of 746 cc), a bigger Daf 32 Scarburettor and a larger air filter. These changes meant an improvement in performance of 20%, power now reaching 36 hp. It was only produced in white with black trim.
