Classic DAF

33
In 1967 with the introduction of the 33, the name Daffodil was dropped and only the type Daf 33number was used. The 33 with A body now was the smaller car, since the introduction of the 44 with B body in 1966. From the looks the 33 could hardly be distinguished from itīs predecessor, except for the single chrome strip on the nose with the small badge. The engine used the same camshaft as the 44, increading power output to 32 hp. The 33 also had safety belts. There were two versions, the "Standaard" and the "Luxe".
Daf 33The Mark II of the 33 had the same seats as the 44, increasing comfortability. In 1972, the ancient 6 V electrical system was replaced by 12 V.
